Background:
Born the son of a Latin American father and a New Yorker mother, Ricardo is an outgoing young man who loves entertaining people. He grew up very close with his sister Beryl who was five years younger than him.

When he was 15, Ricardo left home. He had started showing a great interest in magic and went to study the magical arts to fulfil his dream of becoming a magician.

At the age of 21, Ricardo arrived at Gotham City and met a girl named Charlotte Jones. She helped him reunite with his little sister, who had now become a Green Lantern. Since their reuinion, the siblings have been catching up on lost time.
